no. flume never sees your private keys. everything runs in your browser. your wallet shows you exactly what each transaction does before you sign. non-custodial, worst case we vanish and your funds are untouched.

what actually happens when i rip?

one or more transactions that close each empty token account, which unlocks its rent to your wallet. if you ticked extras, those tokens are burned then closed. the flume fee is a plain transfer in the same atomic transaction. you sign, it lands, done.

what is the fee?

5% of what comes back, closes and burns alike. half of it funds the ripper league prize pool. it is taken inside the same transaction you sign, so your wallet shows two transfers, one to flume and one to the league pot. when $FLUME launches (TBD, follow @0xFlume_) holding it drops the fee: $100 of FLUME for 2.5%, $10k and it is free forever. tiers are computed live from balance times market price, so if the token pumps you auto-graduate.

why 5% not less?

flat 2% barely funds anything. half the 5% goes straight to the ripper league pool that pays out to the top 5 rippers every 3 days, on chain, transparent counter. so the extra you pay comes back to rippers as prizes. nobody is subsidising us, we take the same absolute cut we always did.

how does the ripper league work?

every rip counts toward your SOL reclaimed for the current 3-day period. at 7pm UTC every 3 days the top 5 rippers by SOL reclaimed split the pot: 40% to 1st, 25% to 2nd, 15% to 3rd, 12% to 4th, 8% to 5th. deterministic, no randomness, no lottery, no tickets. ties broken by whoever hit that volume first in the period. paid directly to winner wallets in one on-chain tx, no claim step. anyone can verify a past period by summing on-chain rips per wallet. if the pot is under 1 SOL at snapshot time we skip the payout and the pot rolls to the next period.

how do referrals work?

hit refer, connect, pick a name. your link is flume.fun/?r= followed by that name, so your wallet never shows. anyone who rips through it pays the normal fee, and 10% of what flume takes is sent to your wallet inside the same transaction, no claiming. hold FLUME once the token is live (TBD) and your slice climbs: 15% at $100, 20% at $1k, 30% at $10k, snapshotted from your bag every rip. someone who holds enough $FLUME to pay nothing generates nothing. keep some SOL in your referrer wallet: solana cannot pay into an empty one, so a cut that cannot land goes to flume instead.

why is my number lower than other tools say?

we only count accounts you can actually close. every token account costs 0.002 SOL to open, and whoever paid that keeps the right to close it. when a gas sponsored platform paid, it kept the key. some spam airdroppers do the same, and some token-2022 mints cannot be burned. those never show up in your number, so you never see SOL you cannot get. the ones you can rip were opened by you, or by whoever sent you the token.

can i lose money?

not to us. worst case, you tick an extra you should not have and burn a token you wanted. anything worth over $1 is never counted and never ticked for you. it sits under extras with its dollar value next to it, and you get a second warning if you tick it. empty accounts are always safe: closing them only returns your rent.

i have loads of wallets, do i do them one by one?

no. paste the whole list into the scanner, separated by commas. you get one table with every wallet, its dead accounts and its SOL. connect any of them and rip, switch accounts in your wallet and the rip button follows you to the next one. one card at the end for the lot.

what is $FLUME? when does it launch?

launch date is TBD, follow @0xFlume_ for the drop. its utility is discounts here: 0% rip fee at $10k held, halved at $100, and a referrer cut up to 30%. until launch everyone rips at the flat 5% and every referrer is on the 10% base.

can i swap some of my rip into FLUME?

yes, once FLUME is out (TBD). the landed screen shows a one-click swap that routes through jupiter, no extra fee from flume. type any amount of SOL, sign the swap in your wallet, and the FLUME lands. your next rip picks up the new fee tier automatically. until launch the swap card on the landed screen shows a coming-soon note instead of a button.
